One of our excellent clients in Raleigh has an immediate opening in Payroll.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for the Company.
  • Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications
  • Maintain and document all payroll records.
  • Conduct semi-annual audits of all payroll records.
  • Provide and/or record journal entries with regard to payroll transactions.
  • Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits issues or concerns.
  • Review payroll tax setups with payroll processing companies.
  • Ensure proper year-end w2s, 1099s, and 1095 are sent timely.
  • Oversee 401k and worker’s compensation audits.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Maintains and updates employee benefit information.
  • Manage and/or files required annual benefit information reports.
  • Reconcile and request payment for monthly billings for employee benefits as assigned.
  • Educate employees on what benefits are being offered by the company.
  • Ensuring the company's benefits and leave-of-absence policies comply with the law.
