New Grads - our client is hiring direct for an excellent hybrid role in downtown Milwaukee! You will be trained and responsible for processing payroll and billing while assisting with benefits. This position reporting into accounting and if you have higher education completed with an internship, you can be considered.
Payroll, Benefits, and Billing Coordinator Responsibilities:
Processing of employee earnings, withholdings, and deductions, and all associated remittance of taxes and withholdings to applicable governmental agencies and taxing authorities.
Compile quarterly and annual tax reporting forms as required under Federal and state law.
Assist HR Manager with benefit coordination, including processes associated with withholding and deduction of insurance costs and COBRA compliance.
Administer 401(k) and defined contribution plan, including responsibility for annual employer contribution and coordinating annual 401(k) audit.
Create invoices and participate in client billings
Correspond with clients, answer questions, and resolve issues.
Complete billing reports.
Follow up on outstanding invoices as requested.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
Internship completed or years of experience
Detail oriented, professional, and wellspoken
Comfortable working in accounting and payroll software including ADP Workforce Now
