Greetings all! Our local South Bay client in the healthcare industry is seeking a temporary Payroll Auditor for a 3-month assignment. The objective of the position is to assist management with the verification of a broad range of payroll transactions, ensuring compliance to wage and payroll laws and regulations.

Under direct supervision, will be responsible for verifying various elements of payroll and document discrepancies or errors identified.
Gather payroll data; review and analyze data to provide audit reports to management
Provide detailed analysis of findings; coordinate all analytical, technical and research task
Evaluate and determine compliance standards in order to provide accurate audit reports
Work closely with clients, managers, and partners to deliver the highest level of payroll compliance reporting and consulting services
Ensures meal allowances and overtime stated on timecard follows the labor law guidelines for hourly staff employees.
Will be auditing timecards for accuracy and when errors are found, pay what is owed to employee
Payroll Audit experience | Strong Excel, Paycom, Paychex, ADP Workforce Now
EDUCATION: College degree preferred, or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 2 – 4 years general office work, payroll, audit experience.
Complete understanding of wage and hour laws
Ability to utilize pivot tables, and vlookups in excel
Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment
Skill in preparing clear and concise documents, including but not limited to reports procedures, correspondences and other written materials
