Position Summary and Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll, manual and electronic
  • Ability to properly manage confidential information
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Work through reports, data, and the details associated with completing a weekly, semi- monthly, and monthly payroll
  • Manage information related to hours worked, garnishments, direct deposits, and benefit balances
  • Basic pre and post-payroll review and auditing as a team activity
  • Calculate and prepare manual check information as needed
  • Post and balance payroll items to proper accounts
  • Process Employment Verification requests
  • Scanning, Filing, & Saving E-documents in the Payroll Shared drive
  • Work closely with assigned Branch Payroll Teams
  • Assist with system upgrades and process testing
  • Initiative to work towards updating knowledge of payroll processes to implement and administer best practices
  • Assist with quarter end, year-end, and monthly reconciliation processes as needed
  • Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of payroll experience (hands on – not outsourced)
  • High School Degree
  • Dayforce experience preferred
  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll and payroll tax laws processing
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing team environment
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Oracle PeopleSoft experience is a plus
  • KRONOS Timekeeping system is a plus
  • Pay: $22-$24
