Payroll Assistant

Accounting Principals is hiring a Payroll Assistant in the Lynnwood, WA area. We are working with a local firm who cares deeply about their employees and clientele! Duties will consist of supporting the Payroll Manager to help with timecards, process bi-weekly payroll and some Accounting/Finance duties as needed. Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with bi-weekly Payroll processing for 200+ employees.
  • Review hours, audit for discrepancies, resolve errors and ensure numbers balance.
  • Maintain excellent organization to accurately post employee information between the Payroll system, Excel, and email.
  • Collect employee requests for leave, PTO and wage garnishments and enter them accurately.
  • Additional duties as the Accounting and Payroll department may require.

    Desired Qualifications

  • Business or Accounting degree OR 1+ years of Payroll experience.
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle changing duties and priorities.
  • High level of organization and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Technically savvy, able to perform in Excel and work under pressure.

    Employment Type

  • Full Time, Direct Hire. $18-20/hourly depending on experience.
  • Hours

  • 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday.
