Accounting Principals is hiring a Payroll Assistant in the Lynnwood, WA area. We are working with a local firm who cares deeply about their employees and clientele! Duties will consist of supporting the Payroll Manager to help with timecards, process bi-weekly payroll and some Accounting/Finance duties as needed. Assist with bi-weekly Payroll processing for 200+ employees.
Review hours, audit for discrepancies, resolve errors and ensure numbers balance.
Maintain excellent organization to accurately post employee information between the Payroll system, Excel, and email.
Collect employee requests for leave, PTO and wage garnishments and enter them accurately.
Additional duties as the Accounting and Payroll department may require.
Business or Accounting degree OR 1+ years of Payroll experience.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and handle changing duties and priorities.
High level of organization and excellent written and verbal communication.
Technically savvy, able to perform in Excel and work under pressure.

Full Time, Direct Hire. $18-20/hourly depending on experience.
40 hours per week. Monday to Friday.
