Accounting Principals is looking to hire Payroll Analyst to work with a rapidly-growing company based in the North Bay.
Our client is looking to have you join their team immediately. You will play a major role helping shape the future of payroll for this organization.

This is a contract-to-hire role.  If you succeed as a contractor, you will be offered a permanent, full-time opportunity with the client.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Manage daily requirements for key payroll audit tasks, and reporting requirements, including validation of all general ledger transactions that flow from payroll systems to company's accounting platform.
  • Reconcile all key payroll general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain workers compensation wage reporting and premium payment responsibilities.
  • Provide backup support for payroll leadership.
  • Special projects as assigned.?

  • SOME KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have excellent judgment and organizational skills
  • Must accept responsibility of handling highly-confidential information
  • Know payroll related regulations (wage and hour laws, IRS rules, legal guidelines for wage garnishments, etc.).
  • Be able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • A proven track record of meeting deadlines.

  • BONUS SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Experience using ProBusiness/ADP Canada a and or UKG Pro
  • Experience in payroll conversions/implementations
  • Payroll system knowledge, strong Excel skills, Gmail email management, and strong communication skills.
