Payroll Analyst

TEMPORARY PAYROLL ANALYST JOB IN HERMITAGE, PA

Our client has an immediate need for a self-starting, quick-learning team member with a strong understanding of Payroll processing.  The responsibilities won't stop with Payroll, so adaptability and willingness to contribute in a team setting is key.  Background and Drug screens will be required.  This position will pay $16-18/hr depending on experience.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  
• Review and approve payrolls based on changes requested by employees or management or other legal entities
• Track production and enter into time & attendance system
• Work closely with HR to make sure everything meets compliance and company policy
• Perform all payroll related account reconciliations
• Handle employment verifications
• Payroll reporting and preparation for audits
• Must ensure that payroll is compliant with all regulatory changes
• Other accounting and analysis functions as required
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in Accounting or related preferred, but not required
• Strong grasp of Payroll Processing
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Union/Manufacturing Payroll a huge plus
• 2+ years of experience in fast-paced environment
• ADP/HRIS System experience desired
• Ability to work in a team environment
