Accounting Principals is looking for an experienced payroll professional for a global corporation with headquarters in Williamson County. This is a direct hire position and offers a blend of onsite+ WFH capability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll in the state of California. 

 As the Payroll Analyst, you would be assisting with all aspects of payroll for over 2000+ employees. This position  serves as a key contributor in a high growth environment. The successful candidate will be someone who is looking to contribute to a payroll program within a quickly growing company.  Position reports  to the Payroll Manager and will  work closely with  the Accounting team.


Collaborate with the Payroll Team to process payroll for all salaried and hourly employees

Create and keep all payroll, time tracking and year end process documentation current

Data entry with regard to new hires, terms, bonuses, payroll calculations, deductions and garnishments

Train employees and managers on the time and attendance system 

Assist with the payroll administration aspects of the company's 401K as well as annual reconciliation  

Record payroll and related journal entries and reconcile accounts as part of the month-end close process

Maintain and reconcile payroll related GL accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis

Register with new states and localities as needed for payroll purposes.

 Assist with external audits by providing supporting records and documentations

Run projects and process ad-hoc tasks with minimal supervision


What we need from YOU!

At least 5+ years of experience with full payroll responsibility

Experience processing salaried and hourly payrolls

Ceridian platform experience preferred- not required 

Have a strong knowledge of federal and state regulations as they pertain to payroll processing (Must have California) 

Ability to manage and prioritize workloads in both a team environment and independently

Fluency in MS Office 

Ability to meet frequent deadlines

 A compassionate attitude towards employees and their pay. 


Salary $70-72,000/year
