Accounting Principals has partnered up with an excellent company in the Melville, NY area. We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator with Workday experience. This role is REMOTE position.
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing, balancing and controlling earnings, deduction totals, inspecting automated system output such as registers and standard reports, determining and correcting out-of-balance conditions, and gathering payroll data within our Workday system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for controlling timely and accurate payroll input and process through internal system and external payroll service provider.
Workday experience preferred.
Multi-state payroll a plus
Ability to reconcile, audit and problem solve.
Ability to use judgement and initiative.
Knowledge of payroll policies and procedures relative to specific payroll calculations
Strong service orientation and willingness to learn
Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues.
Strong time management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Human Resources or related field
Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience.
