We are seeking a Payroll Administrator in Chicago, IL.  You must have five years of payroll experience. Experience ADP is highly preferred. This position will consists of compiling payroll statistics and maintaining payroll control records in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze time-sheets and calculate and record adjustments
  • Review new hire data and ensure all information is added
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and address payroll questions
  • Reconcile errors and maintain payroll records
  • Compile payroll data such as garnishments, paid time off, insurance, and 401(k)
  • Perform monthly benefit audits to ensure payroll deductions and plans match
  • Maintain and track outstanding time sheet list
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Review and processes payroll adjustments, including vacation, sick, and other time off
  • Provide reports to various departments as requested
  • Create on-going month-end, quarterly and year-end organization reports
  • Investigate and resolve any and all payroll problems
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five years of payroll experience required
  • Familiarity of accounts payable processes
  • Knowledge of ADP is preferred
  • Ability to exercise considerable discretion
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and adjust to varied workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
