Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Payroll Administrator job for the corporate office located in Pleasanton, CA.  This position is 100 percent in-office! The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years Payroll experience and have an expertise with ADP WorkForce Now. The role will be responsible for handling a weekly and bi-weekly payroll of 100 employee’s, process new employee’s and terminations, ensure garnishments are processed, manage payroll tax and complete payroll tax form filings, process medical and pension reports monthly, provide monthly payroll reports, and assist on projects as assigned.



- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations

- Software experience with ADP WorkForce Now required

- Software experience with Great Plains a plus  

- Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credits

- Team player, able to multi-task, and be self-motivated

- Reliable, confidential, and meets deadlines

- Accurate, analytical, and organized

- Solid communications and customer service skills

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)

- Bachelor’s Degree would be preferred


Experience: 4 years of Payroll experience

Compensation: $29.00 – $35.00 DOE

Employment Type: Temp to Perm (3/4 months)
