We have partnered with a company in Kansas City looking for a Payroll Administrator. This company is a family owned business and they are looking for someone to join their close atmosphere. In this role, the Payroll Administrator will be responsible for payroll and some accounts payable and human resources duties.
Responsibilities
Process new hires and rehires to include employee paperwork, drug screen, and criminal background checks.
Handle daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Prepared weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for federal & multi state taxes, multi-state unemployment, garnishments, 401k and voluntary deductions.
Manage the payroll processing of weekly payroll for salaried, hourly and union employees locally and multi-state.
Ensure proper filing and handling of personnel information.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of Payroll experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
