Payroll Administrator

 

Our client in the Independence, OH area is looking for a Payroll Administrator. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This position is part of the team serving US, Canada and Mexico.  The Payroll Administrator will be able to process payroll for up to 400+ employees on a Biweekly and Weekly basis reporting to the Payroll Manager North America.

 

Pay will range between $20 and $24 per hour depending on experience.

 

Job Duties:

  • Participate in bi-weekly and weekly payroll processing for North Americas Payroll and ensure adds, changes and separations are accurately reflected
  • Administer any irregular payments such as incentives, bonuses and commissions
  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues, escalating to the Payroll Manager North America if required.
  • Monitor timecard exceptions working with supervisors to clear and approve on bi-weekly basis for assigned company codes
  • Act as time and attendance system administrator
  • Prepare T4’s, ROE’s and various payroll reports as requested.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed
  • Perform payroll and benefits audits as requested

    Qualifications:

  • Familiar with US payroll-multi provinces
  • US Payroll Association certification a plus
  • Excellent skills using ADP Workforce Now, MS Word, MS Excel and ADP Custom Reporting required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
