Payroll Administrator
Canton, MI
We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator position for our client near Canton, MI. They are looking for candidates with at least three years prior payroll processing experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include verify and input employee hours from time reporting documents, process multi-state payroll taxes and other garnishments as well as union dues. This is a contract to hire opportunity.
Payroll Administrator Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Receive and review information from time sources and communicate errors or missing time with management
• Input high volume, multi-state employee time into ADP
• Maintain all changes affecting wages, exemptions and deductions
• Handle all employee payroll and time submittal inquiries
• Process payroll taxes and update union wage and benefit packages
• Ad hoc projects as assigned
Payroll Administrator Qualifications and Requirements:
• 3 years prior high volume, multi-state payroll processing experience
• MS Office Suite Experience
• Union and certified payroll skills a plus
• ADP Workforce Now System Experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
