Accounting Principals, in partnership with our client in the retail industry, is seeking a Payroll Accountant for their Phoenix office.  We're seeking a candidate with 2+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience who can also assist with benefits enrollment and and PTO management.  This is a friendly, tight-knit group looking for a long term fit on their tenured team.  If you meet the requirements below please apply now!

 

Job Duties:

  • Set up new employee records in the payroll system
  • Process full-cycle biweekly payroll for up to 200 employees
  • Calculate manual checks and final checks as needed
  • Maintain PTO records and perform regular time audits
  • Reconcile benefits enrollment and billings
  • Support open enrollment with HR Business Partner
  • Create regular payroll reports
  •  

    Requirements:

  • 2+ years in-house full-cycle payroll experience
  • Knowledge of UlitPro is a plus
  • Good communication skills and the ability to answer employee payroll/benefits questions
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  •
