I have partnered with a very prominent medical/healthcare firm to identify 6 Patient Account Reps for the Billing group. You must have the skills below to be considered for the role. Please APPLY ASAP if you think you match up!

Description:

Pay Range $17-$19 

6 openings

Start Date June 8th

  • Positions are contract to permanent based on performance.
  • We are adding 30 new providers to our network so the increase in positions is due to more physicians and expansion of the business.
  • Someone that wants a permanent role
  • Reconciliation exp.
  • Payment Posting exp. 
  • Experience with remittance, payor, insurance and cash posting/cash applications/payment posting.
  • Experience with athena health and/or Epic are highly preferred.
  • Hours are flexible. Start time can be between 7:00am-8:30am.
  • They will work an 8 hour shift.
  • Will be remote for the time being.
  • The worker will have to come on site for a 1 week training, obtain FMC equipment and then continue to be trained remotely.
  • Candidate must provide their own high speed internet and be able to have a secure work space.
  • Position will be 100% onsite once everything is back to normal so if a candidate needed a 100% remote job prior to the current state, they may not be the best fit as being remote is only a temporary thing.
  • Candidate MUST be able to start on June 8th as it will be a new hire class and need everyone to start on the same day.
  • The Patient Account Representative - Billing

    Provides administrative support to the daily operations within the assigned function(s). The incumbent generates and analyzes diverse reports and work lists in the identification, research and resolution of routine claim data errors and issues. The Patient Account Representative - Billing supports the assigned function(s) by performing daily billing, adjustment and correspondence activities in compliance with company policies and procedures.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Generate and analyze reports and work lists in the identification and resolution of routine errors and issues, including but not limited to: bills, claims and payments. May assist in the preparation of routine reports. Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION: High School Diploma required

    EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Great computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and email applications. Working knowledge of insurance regulations, including but not limited to: commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and managed care plans desirable. Detail oriented with great analytical and organizational skills. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work cohesively within a team environment. Possess a positive, enthusiastic and energetic attitude. Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
