We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator for a remote position! The role is part-time as well as 100% remote. Previous experience with Paycor is required. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing time sheets and wage computations to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies in addition to processing bi-weekly payroll for fifty plus permanent employees.


  • Compute, enter, review, and document individual transactions related to wages, deductions and taxes
  • Prepare tax payments and journal entries
  • Recording of payroll activity to the general ledger on a weekly and bi-weekly basis
  • Manage employee leaves, bereavement and vacation payouts, with HR Specialist
  • Maintain all employee W-4 forms and tax changes
  • Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings
  • Respond to employees’ and managers’ payroll related inquiries in a professional manner
  • Process special payments, manual checks, and journal entry, merit and bonus electronic files
  • Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with quarterly, year-end payroll close and W-2 processing
  • Administrative duties as assigned by management
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • Five years of payroll processing experience
  • Ability to summarize data and generate reports
  • Experience with Paycor is required
  • The ability to complete work accurately within strict deadlines
  • Well organized and self-motivated
  • Detail-oriented, accuracy in daily work and other projects is required
