Accounting Principals is currently seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper for our nonprofit client on the north side of Indianapolis. If you are an individual with an accounting background and previous QuickBooks experience that is looking to work about 20 hours/week with a flexible schedule, this is the role for you! This is a contract to hire part-time position, compensation begins at $19/HR.

Duties:

  • Process invoices, credits and sends out monthly statements
  • Assists with collections of overdue accounts
  • Assists with annual external audit
  • Reconciles prepaid expenses, fixed assets and inter-company balances at month-end
  • Responsible for matching up monthly credit card expenses and inputting into system
  • Completes all bank reconciliations
  •  

    Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field, preferred
  • 4+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Previous QuickBooks experience, required
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
