Accounting Principals is assisting a Chesapeake, VA client in its search for an Office Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper. In this role, you will work directly with the owner of this small family owned company. You will provide leadership to a small staff in addition to overseeing the accounting functions from operations to financial statements. You will be responsible for handling weekly and monthly payroll for 40 employees as well as Accounts Payable functions. To be considered for this Office Manager job, you must have at least 5 years of full charge bookkeeping experience in an accrual based, multiple entity environment as well as prior supervisory experience and have a thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This position offers a starting salary of $45 to $50k based on experience.
