Office Manager (Contract-to-Hire) Elmhurst, IL

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and administrative staff of 3
  • Responsible for office operations, coordination of daily activities, and accounting for Elmhurst location 
  • Maintain general ledger, reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, and journal entries
  • Assist local plant with inventory reporting and some fixed asset accounting
  • Work with General Manager and Plant Manager to review financial statements monthly and forecast cost, production, budgets, and financial analysis
  • Prepare payroll bi-weekly for 130 employees using ADP
  • Assist HR as needed in a wide range of responsibilities as back-up support
  • Ensure corporate policies and compliance are being followed within Accounting including GAAP 
  • Assist in operation-planning, annual audits and other projects quarterly or annually

    As the Office Manager, you should have:

  • 5 years' experience or more
  • Accounting background and education
  • Ability to lead and work effectively with teams cross-functionally 
  • Display sound ethics, organization skills, and communication skills to be a leader
  • Experience using ERP systems, advanced Excel functions, and Payroll processing software
