Job Description

Accounting Principals is looking for Loan Servicing Specialist to provide full-cycle customer service for a growing client base with a Lending Company.  You will ensure communication with members and clients is clear and followed up on while ensuring compliance, investor, and federal regulatory requirements are followed along with the company policies and procedures. This company is located in NW Houston, and is a Third-Party Lender providing services for financial institutions.   • Salary: $24-28

  • Ensure that when loans are sold or transfer the process is seamless and ensure communication is handled properly.
  • Perform loan level reviews to ensure accurate set up in FICS.
  • Manage investor reporting.
  • Perform Control reviews:
  • Open Items (taxes, PMI, and insurance)
  • Payoff Quotes and Verification of Mortgages
  • Payment, disbursement, and adjusting entries.
  • Mailing Address Corrections (Vendors and members)
  • Releases of liens
  • PMI Terminations, Delinquency Reporting, and Payments
  • Timeliness of FNMA Remittances
  • Verification of explanation of requests and corrections made to borrower’s accounts.
  • Requirements:

  • 2+ years mortgage servicing experience
  • Consistent Outlook, Word, and Excel knowledge
  • Financial Reporting experience
  • Knowledge of FICS system a plus
  • Experience in due diligence and servicing loans for Fannie Mae.
