Accounting Principals is currently hiring for a Mortgage Processor role with at least one year of real-estate and/or consumer lending experience for a job at a growth focused financial services company in the San Diego, CA. This is a direct hire position that offers the opportunity to work with an industry leader in the mortgage industry.


  • Act in consultant capacity to customers for customers who are inquiring about Mortgage Lending Products
  • Guide customers through the entire process from Mortgage or Home Equity application to loan closing
  • Provide proper disclosures to customers to ensure regulatory compliance is meet
  • Certify all necessary documentation is collected, reviewed, and processed to underwriting in a timely manor
  • Be main point of contact in regard to timely follow up in regard to any conditions or stipulations needing to be meet
  • Ensure compliance trainings and activities are completed as necessary
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year mortgage lending experience
  • High School education or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of regulations and policies to which financial institutions must adhere
  • Experience with Symitar or Mortgage Cadence Application systems highly preferred
  • Must obtain and maintain a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System Number
  • Skills:

  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in high work volume environment
  • Adaptability and flexibility with daily workflow
  • Pay Rate:

  • $33.75/hr
  • Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, Onsite
