Accounting Principals is searching for a remote Mortgage Operational Trainer!!!  The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of recent training/supervisory experience in the mortgage industry, 4+ years of mortgage loan processing.  Qualified candidates should forward resumes for immediate consideration!!!

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Analyze, identify and measure training outcomes to inform instructional decisions that lead to user competency.
  • Make recommendations to management on process improvements for training materials.
  • Train all new processors one-on-one (remote as mandated) during their first week of employment. Training to include review of all processes, procedures, guidelines, system requirements, etc.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train new Processors during first 90 days of employment.
  • Assist with development, implementation and customization of training and materials to reach required proficiency levels. This may include working with the IT implementation team for development of new systems and process enhancements before rolling out company wide.
  • Serve as help desk liaison for processing team; evaluate documented resolutions; analyze trends; report and present trends to management.
  • Gather and report feedback to production manager regarding loan officers that turn in non-satisfactory files.
  • Develop help sheets and knowledge base documents for end users.
  • Maintain a pipeline of 10 loans a month.
  • Cultivate a junior processing role. Supervise the development of candidates
  • Maintain safe and healthy training environment by following organization standards and legal regulations.
  • Create and maintain best practices by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  •  Education, Knowledge, Experience

  • Minimum 3 years processing experience; 1 year training experience preferred
  • Proficient with DU, LP and GUS
  • Familiar with FHA, VA, USDA and conventional products
  •  Skills

  • Outstanding communication skills: verbal and written communication
  • Ability to problem solve and show keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to take direction and be proactive in seeking additional responsibilities.
  •  Technology Proficiencies

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
