Mortgage Loan Officer

Accounting Principals is searching for experienced Mortgage Loan Officer for a well established Banking Insitution in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate comes with at least 2 year experience in a loan officer role. This position is client facing and will involve walking the potential borrower through the entire loan process from application through closing.

Responsibilities:

  • Make initial contact and follow up with potential clients
  • Serve as an ongoing point of contact for clients, helping them collect required information and complete any necessary documents throughout the loan process
  • Assist and coordinate internal and external parties involved in the loan application process, including institution internal employees, dealership representitves, and realtors
  • Gather information for new loan underwriting, including credit reports, tax filings, business entity searches, and title work
  • Ensure loan documentation complies with federal and state requirements
  • Manage closing paperwork and ensure proper filing
  • Review delinquent accounts and attempt to collect debts
  • Perform general office administration duties
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 year experience in loan officer role preferably in the mortgage/financial services industry 
  • Proficiency with ten key adding machine, calculator and Microsoft Office products
  • Thrives in a deadline-driven environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Schedule/Jobsite:

    Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, 100% Onsite

    Pay:

    $15.50/hr with generous sales structure
