Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant

Accounting Principals has paired up with a mortgage loan company in the Schaumburg, IL area. We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer who would be responsible for assisting the Loan officer and his/her duties in accordance with all guidelines and consistently bringing in new business. Direct Hire.



  • Originate and close quality loan volume thru sales and marketing activities by sourcing and following up on leads
  • Developing and maintaining business relationships with real estate professionals
  • Continually develop their pipeline of business to ensure business customers are always plentiful
  • Networking as much as possible with anyone and everyone in order to increase chances of mortgage loan customers coming in the door
  • Promote competitive mortgage products, services and various programs
  • Answer questions regarding current and future needs to assist them in achieving their financial goals
  • Meet production expectations of $1 million in monthly mortgage production


  • A minimum of 2 years of current outside sales origination experience, including established contacts/relationships with the purchase market
  • Thorough knowledge of all mortgage products and programs
  • NMLS License Required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 (“SAFE Act”) *
  • Good knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, underwriting, procedures, documentation and systems
  • Experience proactively soliciting new business
  • Good analytical skills necessary to evaluate credit requests and determine trends in a given marketplace
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Proficient in standardized software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
