Accounting Principals is currently on the hunt for a Medical Records Expeditor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to assist with completing medical records office work. This person will have excellent communication skills as they will be collaborating with multiple medical offices, government agencies, and diagnostic offices to obtain and/or send medical record data. This position is a 3-6 month contract with potential for permanent placement.  



  • Communicate with medical offices and diagnostic facilities to obtain reports
  • Review case management system to identify outstanding reports and diagnostic reports
  • Upload diagnostic results received to case management system
  • Proactively notify Quality Assurance regarding the availability of uploaded and signed reports for high priority cases
  • Prioritize all requests from the client to expedite delivery of a case



  • Understanding of basic medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized with ability to multi-task with high sense of urgency and follow through
  • Superior customer service skills for both internal and external customers
  • High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 years of experience in a medical office or administrative experience
