Marketing Specialist job in Sacramento, CA

Accounting Principals is looking to fill a contract to hire position with a local employee owned company. For this role, assignments are deadline-driven so candidates must be able to set priorities, take ownership of projects from start to finish, handle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrate time management, and provide a consistent level of quality and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Design ads and promotions for various company divisions.
Manage events from planning to execution
Support website design for graphics and photos
Creative ability to translate sales needs into marketing materials
Research, write, create and edit content for a variety of platforms and audiences, from fun colorful pieces to more in-depth detailed pieces
Assist in the production of content such as webcasts, videos, infographics
Write company blog posts using WordPress
Manage company social media accounts
BA Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
1-2 years of Marketing experience (or more)
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi task
