Hi there! 

We are actively looking to add a Loan Servicing Supervisor to help lead our team in our corporate headquarters in Lodi, CA!

We are a well-established banking institution with multple branches throughout California and our loan business has been growing exponentially! 

We're looking for a candidate who has a good depth of experience being responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of boarding and servicing loans. Our ideal candidate must provide excellent service and quality control oversight to ensure accuracy and efficiency in loan boarding activities while having the ability to prioritize and provide direction to the team as well as completing core boarding functions (when necessary to avoid a backlog situation).

This is a direct-hire (no contract period) supervisory position requiring the management of 5-7 staff members

Responsibilities:

  • Direct decisions for loan boarding and be able to review loan documents for non-standard terms and provisions, review interest rates and amortization, and provide guidance to the loan boarding team
  • Understand loan servicing activities such as flood insurance, escrows, GL balancing, payment processing, issuing demands, processing payoffs, UCC and DMV tracking, etc.
  • Taking the lead role in resolving loan issues and problems
  • Be the 'gatekeeper' for loans and ensure regulatory requirements and bank policies are met prior to having the team board loans
  • Spearhead process improvements (via policy updates, checklists, etc.) and work reports to facilitate quality output
  • Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge and understanding of the Jack Henry system a huge plus
  • Must be detail-oriented in terms of management style
  • Bachelor’s Degree - up to two years of additional qualifying experience may be substituted for two years required education
  • Six-plus  years of loan operations experience with a financial institution is required
  • At least three years of experience managing people in a lead capacity (preferably with a financial institution/loan environment)
  • Technical loan knowledge
  • Works well under pressure in a fast paced environment
