Mortgage Loan Processor

Accounting Principals is looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to assess mortgage loans in the Solon, Ohio area. This position will be remote. You will be the liaison between potential clients and a growing financial institution, conduct client evaluations, and prepare loan documentation. You will be responsible for ensuring all documents and signatures are in order prior to submission. This individual most possess an in-depth knowledge of the proper rules and regulations and pay strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for a loan package
  • Research applicant credit status/financial position
  • Conduct interviews to asses client’s eligibility for loans and mortgages
  • Prepare paperwork on new and existing loans
  • Complete loan contracts and ensure client are informed of the proper rules and regulations
  • Submit files to Underwriter
  • Follow up with clients to verify information is accurate and correct
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ plus years of prior professional experience as a Mortgage Loan processor
  • Extensive knowledge of closing procedures, loan processes, and documentation
  • Proficient knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required

    Employment Type: Direct Hire, 40 hours a week, flex time

    Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week
