Accounting Principals is currently seeking a Loan Processor. A successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience working within this field, is organized and proficient with Microsoft excel. This candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments of both business and individual loans.



  • Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package
  • Gather information and take each file from pre-approval to closing
  • Research applicant credit status and current financial position
  • Prepare and maintain all paperwork for existing and new loans, including loan disclosures
  • Create repayment plans for both business and individual
  • Complete loan contracts and ensure clients are kept informed of the rules and requirements
  • Work with clients to establish their needs and recommend types of loans
  • Work with underwriter to submit files
  • Evaluate loan files for regulatory compliance and completeness
  • Develop Policies and Procedures and best practice checklists
  • Work closely with all operational departments to establish productive and efficient work flows
  • Work closely with vendors and conduct training as needed
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or relevant field preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Loan Processor or similar role
  • Knowledge of closing procedures, loan processes, and documentation
  • Experience working within a banking software as well as excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, ability to multitask
  • Perform any additional duties/activities assigned or needed by the business
