LOAN PROCESSOR

Accounting Principals is searching for a LOAN PROCESSOR located in the Houston, TX area.  The company hiring for this position is located in Houston but will allow this person to process loans remotely.  Candidates applying for this LOAN PROCESSOR role must have experience processing loans in the mortgage industry within the last two years (between 2018-2020). 

The pay range for this position is between $58,000 and $68,000 annually depending on experience.

Summary:

Position: LOAN PROCESSOR

Pay Range:  $58,000 to $68,000 annually

Hourly Schedule:  8am-5pm (work-from-home allowed)

Responsibilities of LOAN PROCESSOR:

  • Communicate with clients regarding necessary documentation and paperwork for loan packages
  • Investigate credit statuses to understand clients’ financial positions
  • Assist with the creation of repayment plans
  • Amend and complete loan contracts
  • Ensure all parties are compliant within requirements outlined in the contracts
  • Communicate with Underwriter on a constant basis
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Qualifications for LOAN PROCESSOR:

  • REQUIRED: 2+ years of recent loan processing experience in the mortgage industry
  • REQUIRED: Previous employment at a mortgage company
  • REQUIRED: Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and other specific loan types
  • Personable, reliable, and punctual individuals
