Accounting Principals is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist for an excellent client of ours in the banking industry in downtown Chicago, IL . An ideal candidate will come from a mortgage/loan background and is self starter!
This is a contract role that starts with 90 days of in-person training and switches to 100% remote. It can pay up to $19-20/hr depending on experience.
Ensure full coverage on loan portfolios
Respond to commercial loan maintenance needs including, but not limited to loan maturities, renewals, etc.
Prepare all loan documentation for commercial loans
Enter, verify, and maintain all current and new date for commercial and consumer loans into systems
Process loan payments, payoffs, and advances
Research and resolve customer inquiries regard accounts
Reconcile loan accounts into general ledger
Establish and maintain all records including by not limited to tax, insurance, etc.
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3 years of commercial loan experience is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
