We are seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist in Chicago. You must have two years of loan documentation experience in the Banking or Mortgage industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and assembling new, renewed and modified loan documents for commercial and business loan products including secured and unsecured loans, commitments, lines of credit, and letters of credit.
Provide effective and efficient loan review, and maintenance applications
Create effective client correspondence in accordance with established policies and procedures
Identify and schedule ticklers for future loan deliverables financials, final docs, recorded mortgages, etc.
Prepare commitment letters in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Loan
Assist with all audit preparations including printing and gathering of documents
Review title policies to ensure accurate legal description, loan amount, and acceptable exceptions
Assist in maintenance of documentation and identification of changes that may be required due to project Change Requests and new initiatives.
Prepare of Credit according with loan policy
Accurately process new loan packages and ensure documentation for all loans booked
Associates or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Five to seven years of experience of related work experience
Knowledge of commercial and consumer loan documentation requirements
Ability to work in fast paced, high volume environment
Knowledge of applicable banking compliance regulations
Strong interpersonal/verbal and written communication skills
