We are seeking a Legal Billing Specialist for an immediate hire with a premiere client for a temporary to hire position in Downtown Cleveland, OH. If you have recent legal or professional services experience you will be a very attractive candidate for the position! You must also have strong written and verbal communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft excel. Your day to day duties will include generating client invoices, resolving billing discrepancies, and finalizing monthly pre-bills. 

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparation and reconciliations of monthly invoices
  • Ensure that invoices are successfully submitted
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Processes billing related work queues and corrects errors as necessary
  • Create refund requests when necessary
  • Edit, prepare and finalize monthly prebills
  • Follows up on payment denials/ incorrect payments
  • Verify and track payments and payment plans
  • Assists the finance department with preparing information
  • Maintain late charge reports
  • Perform other related duties

Requirements:

  • Four years of billing experience is required
  • Professional Services experienced is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
  • Strong oral and written communication ability
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to independently solve problems using reason and logic

Employment Type: Contract – to Hire; (work at least 2 months contract)

Salary: $17.00-$19.00

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
