Are you seeking a new opportunity as a Legal Biller? Accounting Principals is working with an international law firm seeking an experienced Lead Legal Biller for a fully 100% remote ongoing temporary opportunity.  The qualified candidate will have worked in Aderant and have experience managing the complete billing process.  

Responsibilities:

  • Manage prebill once mark-ups are complete; perform transfers, write-offs and splits
  • Prepare and submit of client invoices to client and third party e-billing vendor websites utilizing templates
  • Review timekeeper data and costs for compliance with client/vendor terms
  • Assist in the preparation of accruals of unbilled time contacts
  • Monitor bill processing status to ensure timely payment
  • Provide analysis support to senior management related to fees billed 
  • Participate in the implementation and testing of systems upgrades to billing related software
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant legal billing experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills including pivot table, sum if and V look up functions
  • Aderant experience a MUST
  • Skills:

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with various levels within the organization as well as externally with vendors
  • Must have excellent written communication capabilities
  • Detail along with deadline-oriented 
  • Employment Type:

  • Contract, Full-Time Hours
