We are partnering with a client in Lower Fairfield County that has an immediate Jr. Mortgage Underwriter/Loan Processor staffing need. In the office 5 days/week.

Key Qualifications:
• Provide superior customer service by responding to requests in a timely manner;
• Experience in residential underwriting, disclosing and processing;
• Reviewing credit documentation and preparing preliminary underwriting review to Fannie Mae guidelines;
• Ability to review legal documentation, title reports, insurance policies, flood certificates;
• Highly motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as the ability to develop a working knowledge of other programs and systems employed by the Bank;
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills;
• Accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of execution of responsibilities;
• Familiarity with Finastra “LaserPro” software;
• Integrity and ethics;
• Adherence to policies and procedures;
• Ongoing, consistent support of the Bank’s goals and values.
• B.A. or B.S. or minimum of three to five years’ experience in Residential Processing / Underwriting preferred.
