JIB Accountant

 

Immediate opening for individual with exposure to Joint Interest Accounting. The pay range for this role is $23.50-26.50/hr, depending on education and experience.


 

Duties include:

  • Responsible for joint interest related functions including allocations, overhead, and monthly closing processes
  • Responsible for processing non-operated Joint Interest Billings
  • Analyze JIB receivables and make recommendations
  • Prepare analysis and account reconciliations associated with monthly close for accounts assigned
  • Ensure SOX compliance for assigned functions
  • Respond to auditor questions as assigned

    Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Proficient in Excel
