The International Accounting team works closely with colleagues in international tax, treasury, and other departments to implement and facilitate accounting for global subsidiaries. Our ideal candidate has a strong foundation of accounting skills, including working with multiple currencies, foreign entities, managing complex projects, and experience collaborating across stakeholders. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to use accounting knowledge and previous experience to add value and assist in meeting the department's objectives while working in a fast-paced, team oriented, rapidly changing and expanding organization. .

 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare annual impairment analysis for subsidiaries.
  • Prepare annual analysis of differences in accounting for leases under US GAAP vs local GAAP for international subsidiaries and record associated entries to align with local GAAP.
  • Provide support for global statutory audits through preparation of supporting workbooks and documentation.
  • Liaise and maintain strong working relationships with various international accounting teams to support those teams in meeting their local compliance requirements.
  • Lead special projects as needed.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and account reconciliations.
  • Who you are:

  • BA or BS in Finance or Accounting required; CPA preferred, MBA a plus.
  • Foreign currency experience.
  • The candidate must have at least 6 years of progressive experience; public accounting experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of clearly articulating complex processes to audiences with differing levels of understanding.
  • Aptitude to establish and maintain a cross-functional network outside of our immediate team to ensure strong customer focus.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills including ability to lead projects, analyses or processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Oracle or a similar ERP system preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, functions) as well as the ability to work with large amounts of data.
