Career Opportunity:


The Garnishment Analyst will be responsible for full cycle in house garnishment administration for US and Canadian employees. This position performs tasks related to garnishments to include set - up, data entry, garnishment interpretation, reviews and updates, producing required remittances, and working with various internal departments and employees.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ability to effectively examine, set up, process, and reconcile garnishments
• Knowledge of interpreting, entering, and paying withholding orders including, but not limited to garnishments, child supports, student loans, and federal and state tax levies
• Knowledge of multi-state garnishment laws
• Must be able to manage assigned work in an organized, proactive, and independent manner to meet all required time frames and commitments
• Experience with handling a large volume of garnishments in a payroll processing environment
• Interpretation and updating deductions data according to established timelines, standards, and procedures
• Provides answers to garnishment and/or court notices as required within prescribed time limits
• Responds to routine inquiries from employees, HR, and vendors concerning garnishment deductions
• Vendor Administration using JDE
• Assists with related special projects as required
What you need to Succeed:
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred from accredited university
• 1-3 years multi-state Garnishment and Payroll experience
• Knowledge of payroll practices and HRIS systems including PeopleSoft
• Knowledge of multi-state garnishment laws
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
• Must be able to manage assigned work in an organized, proactive and independent manner to meet all required time frames and commitments
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all employee levels across multiple business units and functional areas.
• Self-starter with a great sense of urgency.
