ccounting Principals has collaborated with a growing Financial Services organization to identify professional, driven and dedicated individuals to add to their staff. This will position will be a combination of working remote and on-site in Oaks, Pennsylvania. 

Our client is in search for a Fund Accountant to maintain the accounting books and records of its fund clients, acts as intermediary between the funds and their investment advisors and prepares financial statements and regulatory reports for the funds. The Fund Accountant will operate in a team environment and rely heavily on the use of the micro-computer and various software packages.


  • Maintain relations with the funds’ investment advisors
  • Ensure accuracy entering security trades
  • Calculating the funds’ daily investable cash, expenses and income
  • Supports shareholders’ activity and reconciling to the funds’ transfer agent
  • Process daily accounting records
  • Computing income distributions and reportable yields
  • Quantify and report the funds’ daily net asset values (NAV’s)
  • Analyzing daily changes in funds’ values in relation to broader market fluctuations
  • Partake in group and departmental projects
  •  Qualifications:

  • Must have a BS/BA degree in finance or related field, or the equivalent in education and work experience
  • Graduated with a 3.0 or higher
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the mutual fund industry
  • Able to work under pressure and complete tasks by deadline
  • Professional communication skills (verbally and written) 
  • Detail oriented and Problem solver
