Accounting Principals is partnering with a stable government contractor to identify an individual for a Bookkeeper job in San Diego, CA. To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of three years of experience with government contracts and QuickBooks experience.
The Bookkeeper is responsible for general day-to-day accounting, reviewing contracts for billing, assisting with payroll and other administrative duties
Responsible for tracking, maintaining, and coordinating contracts on all orders
Prepares monthly reports, tracks budget, and submits vouchers
Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepares monthly and quarterly payroll taxes
Prepares and updates billing, invoicing, shipping/receiving, etc.
Assist in reviewing timesheets for accuracy
Participates in other administrative duties as required
Minimum of three years of previous experience working with government contracts
Experience with QuickBooks required
Experience with WAWF (iRAPT) preferred
Familiarity with DCMA, DCAA, Indirect Cost, and Provisional Billing preferred
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
