Are you a full charge bookkeeper who works well independently and has a stable work history? If so, we have the perfect job opportunity available for you! We have an upcoming full charge bookkeeper position available with one of our stable clients located in West Knoxville.  To be considered for this role, you must have the ability to work with limited supervision and have a proven track record of reliability and professionalism. This is a direct hire opportunity and pay up to $40K to start along with a competitive benefits package.  
What you will do as the Full Charge Bookkeeper:
• Maintaining the day to day accounting functions, accruals, and financial statement preparation
• Full cycle Accounts Receivable including preparation of invoices and maintaining customer records
• Accounts Payable including purchase orders, vendor records maintenance, and paying bills
• Bank and Credit Cards reconciliations
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts reviewing for input accuracy and prepare monthly journal entries as needed
• Prepare biweekly payroll
• Prepare and file payroll taxes
• Prepare monthly/yearly financial statements
• Maintain required business licenses
Qualifications you will need:
• Minimum of two years recent experience with full charge bookkeeping duties
• Peachtree software experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel
• Accounting/Finance degree a plus
• Multi-tasker and work well independently
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality
