Fraud Analyst – Knoxville, TN

Accounting Principal is looking to fill a Fraud Analyst position in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Fraud Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, researching and on-boarding requests to investigations.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor account activity to identify fraudulent financial transactions and violations
  • Works with internal departments to validate that charges are authorized
  • Responsible for entering of research data into Actimize
  • Research and obtain documentation on all products related to the unusual activity
  • Prioritize assigned cases based on thresholds
  • Complete thorough research on all applicable systems to provide adequate information to investigations
  • Maintain all cases within service level agreement
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Fraud Experience, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of Financial Institutions experience or open to Recent Graduates with Finance degree or another related field
  • Previous experience working remote, preferred
  • Experience in production environment
  • Experience navigating various systems
  • Some experience working with internal/external customers
  • Ability to identify and interpret data and resolve exceptions
  • Skills:

  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Applications
  • Analytical skills
  • Data entry
  • Detail oriented
  • Verbal/written communication skills
  • Shift Schedules: 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, OR 8:00am-4:30pm
