Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill an FP&A Analyst job for the corporate office located in South San Francisco, CA.  This position is 100 percent in-office! The ideal candidate will have financial planning and analysis experience and have strong interest in technical systems. The role will be responsible for supporting the company wide budgeting process working closely with various cross functional teams.  


Responsibilities include:

- Serve as an important player in the budget and forecast process

- Develop and lead scalable and efficient financial reporting that supports the business including routine and ad-hoc analysis of sales, expense, and headcount

- Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will enhance department effectiveness

- Partner with Accounting team and IT support team to manage and improve processes

- Manage and organize financial data to enable the Finance team to support the business   

- Collaborate with a variety of teams creating new reports to support financial data


Qualifications for the job include:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or related field required 

- Advanced Excel (Building formulas & Manipulating large data sets)

- Experience with Adaptive Planning a plus

- Solid knowledge of general accounting

- Software experience with Sage Intacct or NetSuite (Upcoming Implementation)

- Team player, able to work independently, and adaptable

- Reliable, positive, and gets the job done

- Detailed, a problem-solver,  and organized

- Strong communications (written & verbal)


Experience: 5 years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience

Compensation: $55.00 – $65.00

Employment Type: Temporary (9 months)
