Accounting Principals is partnering with a reputable company in the south of Portland, Oregon area to help find a temporary analyst for their team! This is a unique role in the company where you will have the opportunity to communicate with all levels of the company. You will be doing various analysis reports for all the projects within the company and will be forecasting and budgeting as well. It would be preferred that the candidate stepping into this position have at least a year of accounting and finance experience and a bachelor’s degree. If you don’t have accounting or finance experience but have construction industry experience, you could still be considered for the position since you know the industry. You will be coordinating reports, budgets, and accounting documents for all the various projects the company is working on. Professional communication skills are a must, and you need to be able to stay on task independently.
Job responsibilities include:
Preparing monthly budgets and forecasts for each project
Gathering necessary data and following up with the correct teams to put together various reports
Account reconciliations for projects
Assisting with financial statement preparation for projects
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
At least a year of accounting or finance experience would be preferred
Knowledge of the construction industry would be helpful
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Professional communication skills
