Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst I
Location: Alpharetta, Georgia - Remote
*Team is not seeking a staff accountant but is really looking for someone that has strategic thinking skills, sees the bigger picture and someone that can work with the sales / marketing teams

Job Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate prices for Surgical Healthcare customers within the price management system including international customer accounts. This will also include support of the customer service team to pro-actively resolve price discrepancies and support of the accounting team to resolve invoice issues related to pricing discrepancies. The position involves constant communication with the sales team and our distributors informing them of the status of contract pricing details, GPO tier levels and membership. This position will include the responsibility of the annual price increase analysis and notification process for our distributor and kit packer customers. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the Surgical Marketing Team, Field Sales Teams and Corporate Accounts Teams to accurately load and manage contract pricing in the system. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will develop and maintain a sound understanding of our customer pricing and marketing programs and will act as a financial consultant to the sales and marketing organizations to assist in growing and protecting our customer base and increasing profitability. It will also be the responsibility of the Senior Financial Analyst to complete pricing analysis and impact reports; provide marketing analysis and support; and be involved in system upgrades and process improvements.

Main Responsibilities:
• Research effective dates and local pricing contract details; enter local customer pricing and rebate agreements in the pricing management system
• Confirm accurate approval levels meet internal guidelines and collect written documentation to file for audit purposes
• Communicate the status of any expired pricing and the effective date of new price levels with the sales team and corporate account managers; provide price analysis and manage annual price changes within the system; also provide notifications to sales, distributors, kit packers and customers
• Verify pricing tier levels of GPO members with distributors and sales; update active distributors for customer accounts
• Refer to GPO websites for membership verification; assist in maintaining accurate membership documentation within our internal contract system
• Support the GPO Corporate Account Team in the analysis, RFI and RFP process for GPO contracts
• Identify systemic and/or approval problems and implement process improvements to prevent reoccurring discrepancies
• Complete annual price analysis for our distributor and kit packer pricing; get necessary approval; generate pricing notifications; determine price impact to the business; and load price changes
• Provide pricing/sales analysis and support to our distribution and marketing teams
• Provide support, ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to the sales team and their external customers

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
• Minimum 4+ years of financial analysis experience
• Strong problem solving and quantitative analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
