Financial Analyst – Scottdale, Arizona

Accounting Principals is looking for a Financial Analyst for one of our clients in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a Financial Analyst you will be part of the Centralized Commission Calculation team where you will support and process commission payments for employees in designated areas.


  • Build complex excel formulas to calculate commission payments
  • Prepare monthly commission calculations
  • Work closely with IT/reporting team to develop and test reports needed for commission calculation
  • Perform Monthly commission payment reconciliations
  • Maintain the integrity of reports used
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and Compensation Department to model commission plans
  • Analyze processes and implement improvements
  • Conduct routine audits for plan compliance and payment accuracy
  • Support implementation and ongoing administration of commission plans and provide guidance and analysis to business units
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master’s degree in related field of study preferred
  • 2-5 years of financial, accounting, or data analysis experience
  • Advanced excel skills required. Knowledge in SQL and VBA is a plus
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast paced and fluid environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in solving problems using mathematics on large data sets
  • Work Schedule: 8am-5pm
