Accounting Principals is hiring a Financial Analyst for a Hybrid-Remote contingent job for a National Manufacturing company based in Milpitas, CA. We are looking for candidates with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment. This job is a key contributor in supporting planning, forecasting, consolidation and analysis of the manufacturing operations. The position will support multiple key stakeholders and leaders, providing critical support for key manufacturing, sourcing and cost management activities. The position will have very close interface with Business Finance teams.
Support Sr. Finance Manager manufacturing finance.
Prepare Excess & Obsolete inventory analysis, Overhead absorption analysis, cost transfers, Bill of Material reviews for Milpitas & other sites.
Coordinate the Monthly forecast cycles and annual planning process.
Support functional groups in managing manufacturing expenses, detailed spending analysis & production planning processes.
Support in tracking, managing and reporting inventory & turns by site, product and type
Support with SOX analysis for inventory, Overheads and costs
Support in Audit process and maintain/update all inventory related audit schedules.
Build financial models to support the financial planning of the business.
Create and maintain Standard cost reports, update standards and Bill of Material prices for cost management
Manufacturing Reporting – publish metrics, reports, review data input for accuracy and work with IT & Accounting to resolve any data issues.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Strong proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
Strong proficiency in SAP with manufacturing modules. Implementation experience preferred
Must be an organized thinker with a strong process background and excellent analytical skills
Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff
Have strong work ethic, patience and customer service orientation
5+ accounting/ finance experience
2+ years SAP experience
1+ years FP&A experience
Employment Type: Contingent Employment, Monday through Friday, Hybrid-Remote with 2 or 3 days in the office a week.
