Accounting Principals is actively hiring a professional candidate for an entry level Finance Assistant position at a mid sized company in Tacoma, WA. Daily responsibilities will include data entry, document sorting, client communication and other financial tasks as needed by the team. Organizing, matching, coding and keying in invoices, bills and financial documents
Posting business information to the ERP system and creating Excel reports
Regularly review and calculate mathematical figures
Accurate data entry and maintenance of corporate files
Handling electronic filing and data management
Answering phones, directing phone calls, and answering questions as needed.
Communicating with stakeholders effectively to schedule appointments and request supporting documentation for the team
Accurately audit payments and provide supporting documents as needed
Additional administrative and financial tasks as requested by the team
Bachelor’s Degree is required
Excellent and professional customer service skills over email and via phone.
Experience in software systems and Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc)
High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Strong organization skills, good attendance and ability to work independently.
Location: Tacoma, WA
Salary: $15-16/hour. Internal growth and promotions are common!
Work hours: 8am-4pm M-F, 40 hours/week full time.
