Accounting Principals is hiring a great candidate for an entry level Finance Assistant position at a mid-sized non-profit in south Tacoma, Washington. Daily responsibilities will include invoice data entry, processing Accounts Payable, account reconciliations and other financial tasks as needed by the Accounting team. Organizing, matching, coding and keying in invoices, bills and documents
Posting business information to the ERP system and creating Excel reports
Regularly review budgets, expenditures and cash balances
Accurate data entry and maintenance of corporate files
Reviewing reconciliations and wire payments.
Handling electronic filing and data management
Answering phones, directing phone calls, and answering questions as needed.
Communicating with stakeholders effectively to schedule appointments and request supporting documentation
Assist with data entry for Payroll processing
Accurately audit payments and provide supporting documents as needed
Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s is required
Experience in software systems and Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc)
High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Strong organization skills.
1+ years of related experience.
Location: Tacoma, WA
Salary: $16-17/hour. Employment will be contract to hire, benefits, bonuses and PTO available after probationary period.
Work hours: 8am-4pm M-F, 40 hours/week full time.
